Question: Where are your offices in the US and in what countries do you have legal agents or offices?
Answer: Plane Cargo Inc offers multi-national transportation and logistics services through a close network of partners who are prominent in their own territory. All of these partners have a common goal of individually offering superior local knowledge and customer service while jointly having the coverage and resources needed to satisfy any customer's requirements. A listing of major US gateways and countries where we have partners is available on our Locations page. All locations in the USA and worldwide are covered through partnership agreements or local agencies.

Question: Can your offices provide both air and ocean forwarding?
Answer: Yes. Export, Import, Domestic. Anywhere in the world. Air, Ocean, Truck. You name it, we ship it there.

Question: What is the typical time to respond to a request for quote? For what length of time do you honor your quotes?
Answer:
Air Exports 1 Hour
Ocean Exports 4 Hours
Air Imports Major Cities 2 Hours
All others next day
Ocean Imports Next Day
Domestic 1 Hour
All quotes honored for 30 days unless specified

Question: Does your company have a Quality Program in place?
Answer: Yes. Since 1993 Plane Cargo Inc. implemented Total Quality Management procedures with guidelines set forth by the American Society for Quality Control. Since 2000 Plane Cargo Inc. implemented QS/ISO 9000 standards in accordance with ISO 9002.

Question: Do you have experience in handling and documenting hazardous materials?
Answer: Yes. All offices have IATA and IMDG certified personnel to handle hazmat.

Question: Can you offer licensed Import Brokerage?
Answer: Yes. All offices have licensed brokerage on site.

Question: What will be the point of contact for your client's personnel? How would you suggest the organization of numerous contacts with your company?
Answer: We would suggest one point of contact within our organization. All requests would be placed through this "desk", who in turn would coordinate requests and shipments with all offices worldwide. The "desk" would then be responsible to follow up to ensure all requests and shipments are handled to the complete satisfaction of the customer. Shippers, consignees, vendors, and clients would all have the ability to make enquiries, submit service profiles, or request handling reports.

Question: What tracking process is presently available for export orders?
Answer: There are three processes available: (1) shipment status by fax. (2) shipment status by email. (3) tracking via the internet.

Question: What type of management reporting is available?
Answer: We offer the following reports: (1) P.O. Tracking. (2) Shipment Activity. (3) Delivery Details. (4) Landed cost analysis. These reports are available on the fly or schedule. Other reports can be set up according to your requirements.

Question: Are you e-mail capable worldwide?
Answer: Yes.

Question: What other types of logistics services are available?
Answer: Warehousing, crating and packing (including hazardous materials), and distribution.
